Dorothy  Mosley

Congratulations to AGA Cleveland board member, Dorothy Mosley, for her retirement from Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Cleveland Center and for her award winning work on The Voice, the AGA Cleveland Chapter newsletter.

Dorothy Mosley was employed at Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Cleveland Center since July of 1995. She worked as an accountant in the Expenditure Reporting Branch. Prior to coming to DFAS, she was employed as a systems accountant and deputy disbursing officer at U.S. Army Jefferson Proving Ground (JPG) in Madison, Indiana. Dorothy began her career in federal service as an accounting intern.

Before coming to the government, Dorothy worked in private industry. She was employed as a budget accountant and senior cost accountant at a Chicago manufacturing company.

Dorothy graduated from DePaul University, Chicago, IL with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (BSC) degree with a double concentration in finance and accounting.

Dorothy has been a member of AGA since December 1998 and served as co-editor of the AGA newsletter. As co-editors of the AGA newsletter, Dorothy and DFAS employee Linda Woodford were awarded with First Place Newsletter in 2007 and 2008. In her leisure time Dorothy enjoys traveling and creative writing.
