Catherine Furr, AGA President 2000 - 2001, started her government career in 1982.
Ms. Furr originally came from the Financial Information Processing Center (FIPC) in New Orleans. In her position as Civilian Payroll Supervisor she was responsible for overseeing 13 payroll clerks responsible for the maintenance of over 18,000 pay accounts.
Ms. Furr transferred to Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Cleveland in 1993 where she held the position of System Accountant and was responsible for the conversion (shut down) of the Application "K" payroll systems. She later was assigned to the project team responsible for the conversion to eBiz, specifically the Timekeeping modules. Ms Furr currently works in the Site Support office, where she oversees the daily maintenance of eBiz timekeeping.
Ms Furr also holds duel membership in American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) as the chapter's Vice President Membership Chair.
