The Cleveland Chapters of the Association of Government Accountants and American Society of Military Comptrollers will be awarding a scholarship to an active member, family member of an active member of the above organizations, or other selected candidates who are currently enrolled in full or part-time study.
Award amount: Up to $500
Closing Date for Applications: March 19, 2010
Award announcement: No later than April 2, 2010


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must currently be a full or part-time student in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • May be an active member (current with dues) or a family member of an active member.
  • NOTE: membership is not required

Must attend the Spring Seminar luncheon on Wednesday April 14, 2010.

  • Criteria for Scholarship Award:
    • GPA to date.
    • Number of Accounting Classes.
    • Plan of study.
    • Other intangibles.

Application: Applicants must submit the following documents for consideration by the scholarship selection committee:

  • Application form (attached)
  • Statement of proposed career plan
  • Undergraduate grade transcripts

Preferably, packages may be electronically sent to scholarship@agacleveland.org.

Alternatively, the above may be submitted by the applicant in a single envelope, postmarked no later than March 19, 2010, to:
