On September 12th, AGA Cleveland joined the American Diabetes Association at the Hudson Spring Park for the annual Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes. There are 23.6 million Americans living with diabetes and the American Diabetes Association is the only non-profit organization supporting each and every individual. The American Diabetes Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes. The Association also delivers services and information to hundreds of communities. The American Diabetes Association lives up to their mission.
Participants in the walk received breakfast and lunch while enjoying music and the company of fellow volunteers. There were also activities geared towards younger volunteers and walkers the most popular of which was face painting.
