On April 28th several AGA members partnered with DFAS workers to volunteer at the Cleveland Men's shelter on Lakeside Avenue, just a few blocks down from the federal building. The event was a great opportunity to serve a hot meal to the many needy people from our local community. Some volunteers also traveled to the Cleveland Women's shelter to serve food and interact with the residents.
 

Workers dished up chicken, bread, corn, green beans and either banana pudding or apple cobbler. As you can see from the pictures, the volunteers received many thanks from the people being served and a genuine smile from the gratification of giving up a little time and energy to help others.
