Leah Huth is an accountant at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and a recent graduate of their Leaders in Motion (LIM) program. She started in January of 2006 in the Policy and Procedure department and currently works in the Accounts Maintenance and Control, Reports and Analysis Division. While in the LIM program, she learned Navy and Marine Corp accounting and had the opportunity to travel to Pearl Harbor, Norfolk, San Diego and Kansas City to help transition workload from closing sites to the DFAS Cleveland office.

Leah graduated from the University of Kentucky with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2005. In 2008 she received her MBA with an Emphasis in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.

She has been a member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) since 2006 and is also a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC). Leah served as the AGA community service co-chair in 2007-2008, prior to being elected President Elect.

In her spare time, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her full-of-energy puppy. She also enjoys traveling, rock climbing, skiing, swimming, playing softball, cooking and home renovation.
