Mrs. Walsh is an Operations Research Analyst with the Cost Estimating  and Economic Analysis Division at the National Aeronautics  and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center.

Prior to her position at NASA she was with Internal Review at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Cleveland. Her responsibilities include planning audit work, gathering and analyzing data for audit purposes, and preparing audit workpapers and reports. Mrs. Walsh joined Internal Review (formerly the Performance Assessment and Customer Service Directorate) in 1995. Prior to joining Internal Review, Ms. Walsh was responsible for performance reports in the DFAS Cleveland network.

Before joining DFAS in 1993, Mrs. Walsh worked for eight years as an Operations Research Analyst for Project Manager, Night Vision and Electro Optics (PM-NVEO) at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; the U. S. Army Cost and Economic Analysis Center (USACEAC) in Washington, DC; and at the U.S. Army Communication and Electronic Command (CECOM) at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey. Her responsibilities included estimating software costs for major weapon systems. Mrs. Walsh began her Federal service career with the former Navy Finance Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mrs. Walsh is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) and a member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC).  She was awarded the first place website award for two years from AGA National.

Mrs. Walsh is a graduate of the DoD Financial Management Intern Program and the DoD Graduate Level Financial Management Program.  Mrs. Walsh received her Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Cleveland State University and her Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from Troy State University.  She also received the US Army’s Commander’s Award for Civilian Service.
